Limb lining on Lake Norfork has been great. Last 3 weeks have probably caught 300 lbs of cat fish. The first 2 weeks were almost all channel cats and this last week looks like the blues have moved in. Setting lines in 15 ft of water or less and baiting with cut bait. Planning on several fish fries already.

Joe, I used to live in Hardy and fished Norfork all the time. I am heading to Greers Ferry to visit relatives this weekend and will be fishing Conway, but will set out jugs and limb lines around Shiloh on Greers Saturday and Sunday night. Your limb line post has me fired up to set a few.
When you were setting in 15 feet of water, how deep down were your lines?
I have caught fish about 4 feet under the surface.
Thanks

I usually set them 2-3 feet and that works good. Too much line and the fish will get tangled up on underwater branches and vines.
