Has anybody fished the Kaskaskia River?

Hey all, has anybody been fishin the Kaskaskia River yet? If so, have you had any luck?

Well, I didn't get nothin. The water was still a little cold and the current was still a little fast. There was just nothin out today.

hey man, exactly what are you trying to catch out of the kaskasia? I know there are some big flatheads in there if you find the right spots. I take it you have been catching carp with the corn you are using for bait. It would be very hard to hook anything in the river right now because the weather has fallen back to its usual winter state. I am looking to go in late march but, am not sure if it will be possible yet.

I'm not really tryin to catch anythin in particular. I'm am goin again tomorrow with a friend. Where are you at in central IL. I am near tolono. I live in a town Sadorus.
