Welcome to BOC Ed,:) the best outdoors forum on the net. But watch out for Dreadnaught why will probably be by to welcome you soon. He is going around trying to convince all you new guys that he is one of the best catfishermen in the world...LOL....don't believe him, unfortunately he lives in your state so I am sure he will work hard at tryin to convince you. But truth be told he uses a pink rodholder and fishin poles.;)

Hi ED! welcome to the B.O.C. The Ky. river is also were I do most of my fishing. What part of the river do you use? I am in Woodford Co. and I fish the lock 6 pool. I have not caught a big one yet but I hope to this year. If you are interested we can go someday.I am going tomorrow, I don't care what the weather is! I come home from work and read this site and get so excited that I can't wait for spring. Welcome and good luck.

welcome brother! I sometimes fish the kentucky river here in frankfort,but with limited sucess.I think when jim beam had that fire an spilled all that wiskey and chemicals in the water it killed ALOT of fish.Since that happened i havent talked to anyone yet thats had alot of luck on that river.
