Catfishing in Blewett Falls Lake-Looking for information

I've heard there is some nice blues in Blewett Falls. Anybody know much about that lake?

I bank fished it once with a friend. We were right below a dam at some state access area. Huge boulders there. He got a 16# blue and I got a couple smaller blues and 2 nice crappie. From what I've been able to learn there are good cats there. As well as a lot of rocks. An aluminum boat is a Must.( My boat is fiberglass). I'll see if I can find what info I have on Blewett and send your way.

hey cmj the fishing is good a blewett.. a lot of blues are stacked in front of the dam in about thirty foot of water.. just troll with your electronics on and you will find them.. also up river about the 2nd set of islands a lot of good fish holding in the channell or the channell ledge .. this is a good time to fish not to crowded... good luck .. catching them on shad

i fish under the dam and in the lake alot.. i usually fish around the first island in the lake.
