Lake Chicot

Anybody been fishing in Lake Chicot in south Arkansas. Need a fishing report before I go

I've been thinking of going down there myself. With no limit on channel cats, it seems like a good place to put some fish in the freezer. I'm out, and hungry for catfish.

I have never fished Chicot but a friend of mine does but, he hasn't been down there yet this year. We've been trying to get together and make a trip especially since they made it a no limit lake. We just haven't been able to get our two schedules lined up yet tho.

I fished that lake years ago, I have not been there in a few years.

Went fishing there about 2 weeks ago.Didn't do well at all with poles but did catch 3 nice channels on a trotline.We only stayed one night though.
