best lake in mississippi to fish at?

or just fishing in general .......bream , crappie , bass ..........

Well if your talking bout crappie, it would have to be Grenada Lake. Grenada's also a good place to catch a good mess of cats. But Pickwick is also good place for big blue's.

1. Best for a big one.
2. Best for lots of cats.

there are lots of channel cats caught in lake washington every year ....as for big cats , i have no idea........

I checked out the Big Black and I saw finally where I might be able to pu in. (this is a different subject):wink:. I was wondering what it was like. I have a Tracker 165 that draws little water; would it be okay there or is that a canoe or smaller boat river? I will probably wander over and check it out but with gas prices the way they are I will try to let the 'Net do some of the travelling first.

i've never fished the bb up that far , but have friends that have ...... they catch good flatheads in the pools when the river is down in it's banks and not flooded ........becareful if the water is too low , don't wanna be buying lower units !!!!

Ever fish Lake Ferguson ? I used to work at one of the casino's back years ago. Always figured there ought to be some big catfish in there.

I don't know about the best lake but I'll say, I don't think there any places in Mississippi that you want find Catfish! We are blessed with an abundance of them! Catfish and Rabbits, this is why I love it here!:wink:
