Went to Johnson Lake Saturday. Few sucessful fisherman catching small walleye and white bass on doll flies and grub tails in the inlet. Heard the water temp is 41 to 42 deg. F . Had a few bites on frozen shad chunks and nightcrawlers, but no takers. Hope to try it next weekend if weather permits.
Elwood Res. is very low. Hopefully Central will pump water back in the lake this spring. Heard there is a few walleye taken in this lake too. Need a small boat to get in due to low water conditions.
