DOES ANYBODY FISH AT NIGHT WITH A BLACK LIGHT AND FLUEROSCENT LINE?DOES IT BRING IN THE BUGS?I WAS LOOKING AT THE 10 LED ONE AT BPS.ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED BEFORE I BUY

I use one and it works great. You can see every little movement of your line. It does bring in a few bugs but not very bad. I suction mine to the top of the motor so it gets it out of the boat so the bugs are over the water. If you suction it down you want to make sure you wet the spot before you do. Once I mount mine for the night I can leave it there even when I motor. Hope this helps.

They sell the kind that you can lower into the water. No bugs but plenty of bait fish. that will bug ya.

Kevin, we use blacklights both on shore and on the Catoon. They do draw the little flying critters. Lately we've been using the little glowsticks on the end of the poles. Just as good bite alerts and NO bugs.:wink:
