Couple years ago a buddy of mine had a highway patrolman come to his house, just off the highway, to get permission to look on his land for a wounded deer. Bambi had mangled a little car pretty good and managed to run away. Leaving behind both of his front lower legs. Buddy and Barney walk almost seven miles before finding the deer still stumbling along on his bloody stumps, determined to go somewhere. No real moral to this story. Just can never believe how tough and determined these beasts can be.:004:
