Nice 25lb Blue

Went fishing Xmas in the Northern portion of the Red and caught a 25lb Blue on my brother in laws trotline. WalMart special so there were a lot of broken off hooks all along the line from biggens. That snow melt water was really cold (my brotherinlaw had nice long rubber gloves.

That water gets mean after a storm with swirls and debris. Need a 16 or better an 18 Jon Boat

Sounds like you did pretty good. And yep, that Red can get real mean. You throw in a few good thunderstorms & fresh water, & it gets "interesting" in a hurry. Always respect "her" and be careful. :wink:
