Catfishing report Sat. Jan 28th

Well, the cat bite was slow...I got one really nice channel to finally break in my King Kat Pro rod which handled that 15lb channel like a dream, and my buddy caught one that could have been it's twin a bit later...but that was it. We caught them both on cut shad...unfortunately, the camera was acting up and only got pictures of the one I caught...which is good, as it's the biggest channel I've ever caught!!!

Nice channel there Conrad. I keep catchin blues. Have only caught 1 channel in the past 3 years.

Thanks...he sure did give me a fight! I wish I had some of that problem..like finding these channels, but I haven't caught a blue cat in 10 years! Now that I'm finally figuring out some of the waters around here...which I still am far from being an expert....but it's nice to be able to locate a few fish again.
