bodcau bayou

Anyone fish at the Bodcau bayou dam? I used to years ago and we caught a lot of catfish but it has been years.

Most of us fish the Red river. I do remember a couple of guys who were picking up a net on the bayou for an older gentleman who had gotten sick but I haven't heard anyone on here that fishes Bodcau on a regular basis.

I use to fish lake Earling, which dumps into Bodcaw bayou about a mile north of the la. line. Been a few years but have caught some nice flatheads out of it.

Went yesterday and caught a few channel cat. The biggest was about 3 pounds.

Many moons ago, when I lived in Benton I use ta fish there in the afternoons...caught some nice slabs drowning minners.....And some of them there B@$$e$.....Haven't been there in ages....
