hello t all in the fishing world...i am new and i would like to find a good bait for cat fishing that dont fall off the hook....:cool2:

Happy to see you made it into the brotherhood. :smile2: what kind of bait you use depends on what kind of cat your fishing for and where.. in a lake or river and the current speed. but live and cut bait seems to work the best.

Welcome to the BOC Rob. I prefer live or cut bait myself. You can use the pantyhose trick on liver, liver hooks, or if your lake fishin, you might hive Danny Kings punch bait a try.

hi Rob! There is ton of different baits to use for catfishing. For channel cats, try stink-bait, liver, cut-bait, worms. For flatheads try live bait, bluegill, shad, small bullheads, goldfish, suckers, etc. For blue catfish I would go with fresh cut-bait. Depending where you fish at, try to match the forage of the waters you fish. Where in Nebraska do you fish?
