I'm a Fla. native, and grew up as a commercial fisherman son, with 7 brothers. We fished trot lines, usually 8,000 hooks every night, so I've seen many large catfish.I became a carpenter by trade, and never fished for catfish as a hobby.I'm retired now and own 3 boats, mostly saltwater fishing, and have decided to target catfish. I'm sure I have a lot to learn. I live on the Lake Harris chain, which has always been known for large blues, many up to 40 lbs.Mabe your forum know these fish as another name, someone help me get off to a good start, Thanks, Larry

Larry, welcome to the BOC/SOC :cool2:, best catfishing site on the web! Set up and R&R fish in the same spots you think would be a good place for a trotline.
