Cabela's Trip....

I was looking at planning a trip to Cabela's in Wheeling, WV on Feb. 12th (Sun.). Just wanted to see if anyone wanted to go. We can carpool together. I have some friends coming over from Dayton to go out and restock and check the place out. Let me know ASAP, so we can make plans.

Great place to go we stop there on our way out to OK last Nov. Man that place has some mounts in itall kinds. And check out the big flathead in the tank too. You guys will have a ball its better then bass pro shops around here.

We were there a couple months ago. I have been to the one in Michigan and the original in Nebraska in the late 80's. So far I like wheeling the best, especially the fish tanks.

Ok, Here is the deal, Going to Cabela's this Sun. the 5th. I'm having a guy coming from Dayton to meet me. Approx. 7:30 am at an exit on I-70 and we are carpooling from there. Let me know if you want to go or just want to meet us there. Hope some of you can go. If you do, pm me and I'll give you a place to meet with us.;)

Just got back from a quick trip to Cabelas. Got there at 10 and left at 11:15. Couldn't find anyone. I only live about 20 min away so it is a quick trip for me. Sorry I didn't see anyone. I did fondle a nice ultralite ugly stick rod (for bait) :) May have to go back for that later. Gotta get back to my wife and hope you all are safe.

Sorry to have missed you Ulizth. Me and Desperado got there at 10 also. Too big of a place to find someone. LOL. Did get a couple reels and a depth finder for good prices. So all in all it was a good trip. :)

Sorry we missed you but it was busy out there. I bought a new bow and some clothes. Got some great prices on other stuff. But I had a good time. We will try to plan a trip down to Bass pro when it warms up a bit. :)

I also want to add about my trip there Friday night. The couple guys I asked questions to, were total peckerheads. They both acted as if I was in their way then I saw why, they were standing around doing nothing but talking to each other. Made me mad. Then when I asked a couple questions, like do you sell pull ppins without the mold? I asked because there were 3 sitting neatly on the shelf together, they one guy tells me he is not sure and then say no, I think they are only sold with the molds. Then suggests I use wire intead of the pull pin and points out some wire that is used for making spinnerbaits or something like that. Idiot. Then I asked his crony about the price or Abu 6500, 7000, and he had no answer. He looked it up on the puter and said I don't know when we will get any in. Needless to say I passed them up. I will take my business elsewhere.....some place that deserves it:mad:

I would of just went off on him. You shouldn't have to put with that. When someone does that I make a big scene that makes them look like the @ss. It works and you leave him mad and you get what you want...LOL

Normally I would have left and spent my money elsewhere, but I traveled too far to get my hooks to fill my jig orders and I got my net;) You better believe I will go to Catfish Connection next time around if possible. I did here one other employee talking to a former employee that came in there.....he said they have been going through people left and right and they have had management level folks leave too.

Went to Cabela's today after I was done in Pitt that place is great I wanted to spend alot of money. If I could have I would have bought the reel for 700 but I wont get that till next year :)
