Any stripe below wheeler now??

Fished 8 hours saturday on wilson and not a single bite..:wink:
I did happen to fish a ba$$ tourney with one of my cronies..man you talkin about cold..never got above 38 all day long..I think I threw everything but the kitchen sink..what was strange was we didnt even catch a stripe, where do they go this time of year? we fished the current below the dam, 2 creeks and almost every boat dock with in 5 miles of the dam..thanks!!

My understanding is that the stripes are all up in the creeks this time of the year but I have seen them in deep water in the river channels, so who knows.

Last fall (Oct), I watched a pair of guys wear out some stripes below Wheeler Dam. They were on the rocks right at the dam and were throwing straight at the discharge boils. White 6" Zoom flukes I think they were using. Top water plugs are great when they first running water,spring and fall.

they are probly still in the creeks and deep now but give about another month and it should be on. let me know how ya do
