Hey Richard. I see you were successful on your first WT hunt. They are fun to hunt and good eating too. I took a nice 7pt (4X3) a week ago Friday. Cooking a big pot of deer stew as we speak. Don't you just love hunting those critters.

Boy, he looks like a worn out old warrior, doesn't he? I think it's a great looking deer; I'll bet he's got some stories to tell. Congrats on that fine "old man"!
Looks as if he may have whipped a few young bucks in his time. Nice deer.
Now see there it didn't take you as long as you thought it might.Great going.Enjoy that pot of Stew.
Congratulations Richard, Thats a nice buck, Now you need to find the one he's been fighting with:ooooh:. I killed a pretty nice 8 point on the 16th other than that i've seen a ton of does and small bucks.

Matt ,the G2 was 10 1/4 " long I think the G3 would have been at least 8" judging from the mass of it.
Demetrius I have an old remington model 788 in 243 winchester,it does the job on deer ,no need for magnums ,if its that far ,I just sneak closer.
