OK where did u guys hide all the deer

weel the season started yesterday and in two dayswe only seen 4 deer. no shooters. but normally wed have seen about 25 or so already.:confused2:

ya, good question, seems a lot were shot first weekend in north Mn, but pretty scarce after that, no snow, harder to see them, didn't see activity on the scrapes everyday, just every few days. 5 deer limit, but wee didn't see many. I only seen 4 other guys seen a couple, but they were pretty jumpy. We don't hunt the first weekend, so its more a challenge. Safer too. Didn't notice as many trails either, but with no snow hard to tell where they come from and go to. heard the rut is determined by daylight, not temperature, but temperature can influence it. was colder early on, then got warm again. snowed last day, just a little. but too late to matter.

I haven't saw but one deer since the middle of bow season. It just happened to be a 8 pointer that come walking buy me this past Tuesday afternoon. Oh well bad news for him he will be on my wall before to much longer

now it got cold and in 2 hours this morning i saw 8 doe but no bucks

Ive taken two eater does, ones already been eaten. :big_smile: Passed on a decent buck, maybe 120-130? Guessing about 3 years old but I think he can get bigger. I also heard my first buck fight Sunday morning, too bad it was about an hour before light.:sad2:

so that were the monster 10 point i always see in the woods whent ive benn out there 2 time this week and havent seen him yet and even time im in the woods i see him but never comes in for a shot though:sad2:

They all migrated out west to New Mexico guys . I saw three 10 pointers today .:wink:couldent get a shot on any though:angry:but I may get lucky tomorrow.
