Polebender Tournament for November 10, 2007
It was not a good forecast and I had already talked to several members who told me they were not going to be there for one reason or another. It started out pretty windy and got worse. the fish were biting pretty decent. It was one of those days when you really just did not want to be out in the open part of the lake. We had 11 entries so we payed out only two places. I sure hope we are not using up all of our luck because we won this tournament. Now our regular season starts and our point system for anglers of the year start. We are looking forward to a good season this year. The open tournaments introduced 6 or 8 new teams for us, which is what we wanted to do. I recommend that anyone having tournaments, have a couple of open tournaments. Thisallows people to fish without it costing them so much to try out tournament fishing. We had a couple of teams not make it back on time because of the windy conditions. Here are the results not many pictures because everyone was ready to go home.
