Hey All, another new Indiana guy here.

First off, I'm not really new, I've been checking out the forums for quite awhile, Just haven't posted anything. I've been too busy filling my brain with all this knowledge from this site. It's unbeleivable!!!

I'm from the Terre Haute area (West Terre Haute). And do a lot of catfishing on the Wabash. Bank lines, Trot lining, and mainly rod fishing. I have I 16' flat jon, that me and my son really enjoy.

I haven't produced any monster cats yet, but from what I'm learning here, I see big ones in my future.

I mainly just enjoy anchoring out on the river, and relaxing.

So I hope to meet some new friends, and do some more learning, and maybe get into some of these Tournaments you guys do.

Welcome aboard Randy!! What is the biggest cat you have caught so far. Mine is a 32 lb last summer. What kind of poles and reels do you use?

To tncatfishing: I have a few of the Basic catfishing rods you get at Wally World, with all of them having the Abu 6000's.

As for my biggest catfish, I would say a 4 or 5 pound Flathead.

That will change quick if ya hang around some of the brothers, my biggest is only 12lbs, but we only have channels in CA, looking forward to finally persuing Flatheads and Blues.
