A bunch of catfishing going on below the dam saturday. Some skip jacks running and caught a few. We wern't too successful with the cats. I boated three to take home. One channel and two blues with largest about 8lbs. Ate them tonight. My son and I were mainly fishing for big ones. Saw a buddy with his grandson and they caught at least 15-20. I did have one take off with a large skipjack head from a 14 incher. Missed him, I didn't let the pole load up long enough. The second on a whole 8 inch skip jack, took off like a train with the clicker spinning. The weird thing it just dropped it before I could set the hook. It never picked it up again. Anyway had a good day.
