New slug

I am curious if any one has tried the new Federal slug call "true ball" and what there results were. The are designed for smooth bore shotguns. I have heard alot of good things about them but I have my shotgun sighted in for 3 inch 7/8 oz Remington slugs. At 100 yrds I have a shot group of less then 3 inches with 6 shots.

If your already getting 3 inch groups at 100 yards I really don't see the need to change anything....that's pretty darn impressive at 100 yards with a shotgun. Heck 8 inch groups at 100 yards still will result in a good kill shot. If you need better than that I'd switch to a rifled barrel or just go with the rifle.

Bill if you have something that works don't try to fix it.I have a Mossberg 500 with an 18in cylnder bore barrel.I shoot Winchester 1oz slugs and can hit a beer can at 50yds every time and there ain't no way I'm gonna mess with that
