It was fun anyway, and i did kill 2 deer, one doe with a crossbow and one doe with my muzzleloader. This video was shot from my stand about 15 mins before i killed the doe with my muzzleloader, and the first deer that runs by in the video is the one that i ended up killing. I dont know how many times i saw this happen this year though....

Jon, can't beat the time in the woods. It's my relax time when I recharge for the rest of the year. I took 5 deer this year. 2 decent bucks for here a small buck and 2 smallish does. One thing I did learn this year from you is how great a trail cam is. We kept one set up from two weeks before season opened the 1st week of November and we still have one set up now. We bought 4. 3 35MM cameras. And one digital. We learned that those 35 mm cameras are tedious at best. Can't tell you how many times we set them up and either the film didn't load right or it jammed. We did get a few nice pics though. We plan on buying a couple more digitals before next year. Thanks for your articles and posts on trail cams. Sure is interesting what you see out there when nature is totally undisturbed.

Brian, i started with the 35mm cams, i had mine for about a month before i got rid of it. Digital is the only way to go. Hope you try building one sometime, its a rewarding experience.
