Any good at Powerton - Catching small blue catfish

I Went yesterday and only cought a few small blues on discharge. Saw a guy next to me catch a 22lb,10lb,13lb all blues. I cought mine on skipjack but he used bluegill. going back friday.

went today and cought two 6lb blues and a few small channels.

Hello to all;Can i pester someone on the location of powerton.Seem's like a great place for catfish.Could anyone tell me what else swim's there.Thank's Mike

Hey Mike Powerton is located in the peoria ILL area.

There is all kinds of fish swimming there. Blues ,channels, and flats besides the regular bunch of gills and bass.

POWERTON LAKE - One mile south of Pekin off Route 29 along Manito Blacktop. Shore fishing only until February 15th.
