Odd Line

Last year Stren introduced a Hi Test line in Neon, well they didn't make it long but I do a spool of it. Now Berkley(who now owns Stren) is making a Big Game Hi Test line in solar. Odd that they made that move to me. I use both companys line but still seemed odd that they did that.

the only one of the three ive used is the "big game". i hear the big cat/big game are the same thing. true? and how about the big game hi-test, anyone use it yet? if so how does it differ from the other 2? i'm about to spend my bass pro gift card but im torn between the bg hi-test, big game, and the ande tournament.

I think big cat/big game are basically the same line in different packages.

Ande line is very strong and better priced than the other two lines.

I don't know about the Hi-Test but the Big Game will break above the label rating. Ande tournament is an IGFA rated line and it will break at or below the label rating.

glad i just read that, had to call bass pro back to change from ande to big game hi-test. whew! thanx
