Question abouting baiting

In all the states that do allow baiting for deer,bear, is it ok and legal to dump corn in the ponds or swamps for ducks? Seems to me it should be.

Not only NO, but Hell NO !! In lots of states the fish and game people will drag a screen on the bottom in front of duck blinds.. If it comes up with corn in it kiss your guns, boat and maybe your car good-by. Don't matter if you put the bait there or not. Even if you have no idea its there... you are guilty!!!.....:angry:

Also hope no one wants to ruin your spot and set you up with bait. Had a guy do that to some friends once. It all got worked out but caused some problems especially since ducks are under federal law.

federal law wont allow it in my state for any bird that im aware of.

Not only is it a federal law but its a federal law covering all states with migratory birds. I dont think the federal judges would be to kind to you if you caught caught since they sway with the public on hunting dislikes!!!
