Welcome to the BOC Jim!!!
Yes, you are absolutely correct about the conclusion that you have come to about him. People look up to people like him and, doing things like this will only prove to further hurt his carreer. He has let the almighty dollar rule his actions for far to long.

Thats not hunting. Jimmy Houston is an idiot! I saw a segment of his show a while back when he was catfishing. They were catching 30-60# blues. He kept telling the audience how big the channel cats he was catching were.

He's even more of a jerk in person! He tried to "shove" me out of the way of a display once at a boat show so he could get up to it and see it. He thought he had more right than I did. I wanted to deck him but used restraint. I just shoved him back and told him to wait his turn. Guess I missed a golden opportunity for all sportsmen!

What does this say about the polititions in the states where they introduced the legislation to legitimize what is happening. You can boycott J.H. (don't watch his shows and don't buy the products he endorses) and vote the scumbags polititions out of office.

I was sick when I saw this footage. I agree with boycotting everything associated with JH and sending e-mails to ESPN to drop his show.

I"ve been boycotting him for years! I won't watch his shows, or go to his store, which is clost to were I live. He's got nothing I need, merchandise, OR knowlege!!!!!!!!!

This is the only way to get his attention. In the wallet. He evidently has no morals in his "sportsmans" body.
If it wasn't for websites like this, we'd never know about these kind of things.

I don't want to start an argument, but he's by no means a "sportsman"! He's a buisness man, and only into this for himself, not to better the sport or wildlife!
Like the other post though, Bill Dance is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!! He'll actually fish a variety of fish and his out takes and bloopers are the best!LOL

I just love how most of these guys fish private lakes, where there is not a lot of presure. I know a guy that knows Bill Dance, the guy I know told me that Bill fishes a lot of Ray Scotts private lakes, that way he can have the whole lake to him self. Not sure how true this is, but when is the last time you saw one of his shows when there was another boat any where around.

I dont think it matters where whoever is filming a show. The content is not about the water being private or public. The content is catching fish and promoting sponsors.
The things Bill Dance presents in his show have no bearing on where he fishes. It applies to wherever.
Establishing a productive pattern is done the same way no matter where you are fishing.

jim this is the first time ive seen this video. this should be illegal if you cant find a clean hunt on your own then you dont deserve one. this reminds me of the saying"ALL BAD MEN NEED TO SUCEED IS FOR GOOD MEN TO DO NOTHING" and this is a perfect example.i tink thats how it goes anyway point made thank you for posting this i new there was a problem in this type of hunting but did not know it was this bad, 8,000 facilities. think of all the legitement hunting land that could be baought with this money.

My point about the private lake, and patterns, in a private lake, it's easy to start feedin fish in one spot, to get fish to school up in that area. I know you can do the same thing in a public lake, but you have more presure from others, and if people see someone baitin a spot, they will fish it. Plus on a public lake some guy filmin a show can't just come up to you and say hey man I'm doin a show, we need you to leave so we can do some filmin. JMO

That is pretty bad. I have never hunted deer and have no desire to ever do so, but I do see the need to hunt in an effort to control deer populations throughout the US. Also, I believe in a persons right to hunt if they so choose. Therefore I strongly disagree with all the unchecked/unpoliced captive game farms. It gives true hunters a bad name and like was said in the video, it can give anti-hunting AND fishing groups a little more ammo. That's the last thing any of us as outdoorsmen/women need.

You're right, just like I said,"Don't watch him and boycott his sponsers." Now that, ESPN will pay attention to, cuz it hits 'em in the pocket book.

I tell ya what, I just watched this video and i am disgusted and outraged that they actually can get away w/ this and all that was covered in the video!! As a hunter myself I really cant believe that these guys are so lazy and well maintained($$$) that they cannot go out and actually HUNT for deer!! Instead they drug them...... this is why PETA and all the other "Bleeding Hearts of America" have so much fuel!! Thanx for bringing this to all of our attn. and I will be voicing my opinion on this issue to whomever it concerns!!
P.S. never did like Jimmy Houston!! LOL:confused2:

Mister Mark J. I have to disagree with you, it makes a big difference where they make there shows . Bill Dance does most if not
All of his shows in north Florida at a place where it is pay catch and release bass lakes . There is so many big bass in those lakes he can go
Down there and make numerous shows in a day , I have fished some of those lakes around there when I lived in Jacksonville Fla. And you can
tie on a piece of stick on your line And they will hit it.When he does a show he is making a statement that if his viewers buy the products he is
Using and uses them the way he is they can catch fish like he is ,and unless they go down to Florida to one of those pay catch and release
Lakes there is know way it can be done. TO my way of thinking he is committing a fraud,so it makes a big difference where they do a show.
When he makes that statement on his show to separate someone form there money by them buying one of those lures he is demonstrating that
Is to me fraud. You may think different than I do about things like this, do you realize how many guys see one of those shows and run out to
Bass Pro Shop here in Atlanta and buy those lures that they have just seen demonstrated on his show. I haven't seen one of his shows in a long
Time where he has fished for bass in a river or a lake where his viewers
have to fish.

Ya gotta good point Cliff. I run in to the same scam type presentations everytime I drive onto a car lot! Most people call it "salesmanship", but it's really down right scamming.
I gotta say though, Bill Dances "blooper out takes" are the best though, That's why I watch his show, LOL.

hunting is about the challenge thats what makes it, i have never understood why a person would even want to hunt this way money or not.i have had someone steal the deer mounts off of my wall, i can only imagine that the motive was to say they harvested the deer themselves.
