has anyone been fishing around the dam lately? had any luck? can you find good shad there? i am thinking of taking a treip up there when the heat drops a lil'. any info. is appreciated.

Before the heat wave I saw pics of some good cats caught at the dam at night. several 20+. Nothing was going on last friday night fished till 1:00 am.
Shad can be caught around the lock pit but not real plentiful. After dark last week we really caught a pile of big (huge skipjacks) on a sibiki rig. Caught 30 or so in 1.5hrs to bad the cats did not want any to eat.
