i seen some interest and concerns on our IN. regulations. i am putting this,topic specific, thread out to hopefully get more input from my Indiana brothers. so lets hear what you think on the subject guys n gals.

I'm with ya river scum. Indiana should look into this matter more closely.

Ill do some reasearching as soon as i am able and maybe i can come up with a name and e-mail adress so we can bombard em with emails and request that they look into revising some of the current regulations {or lack of} for catfish.....we'll get er done ;)

The date of this publication is 2004 but I do not think they have changed anything. I also did not list all spiecies fish. If you would like info a certain spiecie e mail me. (I'm to lazy to type the whole thing out)LOL :D

You are correct Bill. The catfish regs. have not change since 2004...actually, they haven't changed much since 1969. I just found a file containing IN's fishing regs. -- looks like 1969 to present.
1969 catfish regs:
Rivers & Streams -- blues & flats daily bag = none; min. size = none
channels = none; = 10"
Lake & Reservoirs - all species = 10; = 10"
Around 1979 the DNR dropped the size limit on catfish in lakes & reservoirs, which makes those regs the same as we have now.
