i now live in ocala fl it is like starting all over again i got a 16 # last march but thats it im from the quad cities ill were the big one live were is a good place in florida not too far frome ocala thanks for any help

St. Johns river. If your looking for flatheads you will have to go to north Fl. /south Ga.

Reeftank---Come on over to Palatka on the St. John's we have some nice Cats here 20 +lbs. We are have a tournament in Sept also. So many places to fish around here.

Oklawaha River has catfish, there used to be BIG catfish in Silver Springs that came up for the bread balls the glass bottom boats threw overboard, so where the Silver river goes into the Oklawaha should be good.--shu

There are cats in almost every pond, stream, lake or river in Florida. In the rivers try to find the deeper spots normally on the outside of a bend. Some of the big boys are in the 50 pound range...
