are you fishing at night? if so try using light sticks instead of bells.Great advice. I know of a guy who can't hear who uses lighted bobbers at night.:0a27::0a22:

I got a dilemma, I can't hear the new style round pole bells ring because of a hearing loss. I have been unable to find the old style cow bell type brass bells, which I can hear, I think I have two left. Anyone know where they are available? I have been lately fishing mostly on the river with 3 rods and have a hard time keeping track of the bites. I have even resorted to trying to make my own bells, but can not seem to get a good ring sound. Thanks for any advise or ideas. Luck
