New to the BOC

I would like to say hello to everyone, and say thanks for a wonderful site. It really makes those long lonely nights away from the water more enjoyabe. My wife, an awesome fishergal herself, and I love the sport of catfishing; and we have found the people involved in it for tournaments and leisure a pleasure to be around. Our personal best happens to be HER personal best, 62 3/4 lb blue. She has had me by 1/2 a lb for about 2 years now, and reminds me of it every time we fish. I knew she was the right gal for me the first time I took her fishing. When I cut up the skippie and placed it on my hook she had a look of dismay on her face. I said "Oh No your not the squimish type that won't bait your own hook are you?". She staunchly replied "NO, you just used all of the guts you greedy pig." :ooooh::big_smile:Shortly after we married.Thanks again for a great site.

Bama, I live in Talladega so that my daughter can go to school at AIDB. But we have a house just south of Gadsden. We commute back and forth during weekends, Holidays, and summer. I fish the Coosa mostly, but we try to fish all the tournaments that are close by. I love that stretch of river near you. Thanks for the welcome.

Guys, thanks for the very kind words and the warm welcome. This site is like the online version of CHEERS. I only hope I don't become Cliff Claven. Because of your sincere kindness, I would like to prematurely invite all of you to the press conference and after-party, when I catch the new Blue Cat World Record of 150lbs. I was shooting for some time this fall; but there again, I been shooting for some time this fall for about 10 years now. Again thanks to all.
