has any one used this for catten because i just bought the 25lb test in a roll of 3000yds for 32 dollars and feed back would be greatly appercated

No haven't tried it yet. I just got in a neon 80lb. test 3000' roll myself. I plan to spool a couple of Penn 330gti's on Hagan 6'6" double pulley heavy duty rods. Gonna pull in the big cats and the log they hid under...lol I will let you know how it holds up.

I was hoping to but the way it looks, I am already going to be out of town too much in Feb. (2 tournaments - Florida - S. Carolina). Hopefully I will make it down that way sometime this year.

I just ordered a 3000 yard spool of 80 lb test magnaflex off of E-Bay so I can spool my new 12/0 Penn Senator. Magnaflex 80lb test seems to be stronger than Big Game 80 lb test. It stretches a little more than Big Game and I guess that is the reason that it seems to be stronger. I don't know how the abrasion resistance will be on the line and I definitely am going to find out come spring.

I used Stren Magnaflex 30# the whole 2005 season and was very pleased with it. I used the yellow color which was really helpful after dark. I used clear line for my leader. I bought it also from Lucerne.
