Any suggestions for catfishing on the Tennessee river in Jackson County

William, if you come on up river to South Pittsburg, there is a creek there called Battle Creek, there are some big ole boys around that area where the creek empties into the river, just up stream from the big blue bridge.

I am familiar with Battle Creek but have never fished across the state line. It seems they have messed up the fishing just below the state line when the dredged the river for the USG plant. Fishing hasn’t been the same since.

Yes, I have a 18' pontoon boat that work extremely well for jug fishing.

Cool!! OK have you tried in the back water by the nuke plant? or from the BB Comer bridge back to guntersville there is some SWEET deep holes and also over by the boy scout camp there is some GOOD places too

If you put in at BBcomer go under the bridge its up on the right a lil ways!!

Yes fished there before did not no if you was talking about there or the one across from goat island just above guntersville dam
