Hello...new member.

Hi everyone, just joined. Awesome site full of great info. I am an avid outdoorsman but fairly new to concentrating on catfish. I was fortunate enough to have a big cat expert show me some things and get me pointed in the right direction. We fished all night a few weeks back on the AL river and I guess it was beginners luck, I hooked into a 40 lb flathead on rod and reel and got him in. Awesome feeling, now I am hooked on chasing these monsters. Was limited due to not having a boat but I am picking one up this week and will begin chasing them every chance i get. Hope to get to know some of you and maybe I'll see you on the river.

Thanks, I agree. What a Great site. Tons of useful info and everyone is willing to help everyone else. Most sites are full of folks just waiting to rip a newbee for asking a question that has been asked before. This site is just Good Folks!! I'll be spending alot of time on here.
