My wife and I went to Opossum Lake this evening from 5 pm to 8 pm. The wife read a book while I fished for catties. Didn't have a single bite until 7 pm and then had 12 to 15 bites. Used pieces of raw shrimp and landed two 6 inch bullheads and 1 turtle. The other bites must have been small fish that couldn't get the hook in their mouth. A very slow night. Quite a few bank anglers out this evening and I only saw one largemouth caught.
