Looking to fish in Atlanta area in Mid July.

Lake Walter F. George south of columbus has alot of channels, but if uwant big catfish (flatheads) s.e. Georgia the Altamaha river, but it is a long way from Atlanta, lake Hartwell is closer.

i beleive i've heard on here before the hooch get's good for cattin down near the columbus area......I don't know first hand but you might want to research it.
