Nice bait creek

Best rig to catch creek chubs is a small hook baited with a small piece of nightcrawler, with 1 splitshot weight about 18" up the line.

is im going to a lake like 5miles away tommorow is their any way i could keep the fish alive over night dont wont dead nasty bait, like it fresh1

If I was in your situation, I would ice them... I have an aerator mounted to my minnow bucket. Usually keeps them alive overnight if I ice the water regularly.

Just curious, what lake are you going to be fishing? I'm from Omaha too.
