Paynes Creek on Hartwell?

Anyone know any good bait shops around Paynes Creek on Hartwell? And maybe a good area near there to catfish?

Paynes creek is on the Georgia side above the little town of Hartwell. We will be headed there from Greenville S.C. Any bait shops close to Ga. S.C. line that are near I 85 would work. Any help appreciated. Gas has got so hi I hate to ride around looking and useing the gas I need for the toon.

Do you know about the bait shop off exit 14 near Broyles landing or lake hartwell fishing and marine? Both have herring and other good stuff.

i come up through washington and take a few back roads from there. there are a few bait shops around you just have to look for them.
