Hey Eric, I see you are a crane operator. Have you ever done any dirt work or worked on the river any? Most of my family members were dragline operators from my dad,uncle brother, and now my nephew. My Dad worked for Atlas constuction which was owned by TL James,and my brother works for PineBluff sand&gravel.

Welcome to the BOC, Big! Watch for an upcoming gathering at Wilbur Mills Dam, the last dam on the Arkansas River before it runs into the Mississippi. No date set yet, but we generally have at least one there every year. It's not that far north of you.

Welcome Big. I did a little fishing not far from you in Toledo Bend Easter weekend.

Yeah my daughter-in-laws family has a camp on Toledo Bend,and as soon as my wife gets over her neck surgery we are going to try and go over there and try it out. She had surgery Thursday and won't let me go fishing till she can go. She just don't know but i might go tonight after she goes to sleep,lol How did you do at toledo bend ?

thanks for the welcome. Yeah they got some big one in the red river,i just aint hooked one of them yet. I hope to do alot of fishing this summer close to lock and dam #2,my son lives not far and we go every now and then out there. thanks again for the welcome and have a good one up in your neck of the woods!

Hey John,yeah we going to have to get together a go catch some. Right now my wife just had surgery ,and have been taking care of her. Hope she will hurry up and get well soon,I'm having DT's from not getting my fishing fix!:big_smile:
