What are some good rivers in Alabama, that's close to mobile, that has big catfish?

Don't know the name of it, but there's a honkin' big backwater as you are coming into Mobile on 65. Always see a lot of boats out there. My son's in the Coast Guard stationed at Air Station Mobile. I'll ask him to check around and see what he can find out...

hey man,

right now the salt water from the bay has creeped way up in the delta.
your best bet for good cats is probably gonna be on the Baldwin co. side of I65. TENSAW river is a good place to start. also the Tom bigbee North of Mobile and the Alabama river are good. the part of the delta Mike is talking about has the middle, mobile, tensaw and lil lizard rivers. hope this helps.

Being that close to the coast i would say to catch some mullet cut it up and soak it in garlic for those big cats:wink:
