Well I don't have a boat , yet, so all my fishing is done from the bank. On weekends I usualy go either saturday mornings or the evening. Sometimes I will fish sunday afternoon. I live in clk. tn. So can pretty much go anywhere. Kinda familiar with the steamplant area , or I should say with the general area. I have fished some out at cheatham dam. I am going to be out at the steam plant early in the morning to catch some skipjack, and to try to catch whatever is biting. Going to put some skipjack in the freezer so I can try other places closer by for cats. I will be out their about 4 or 4:30am till abot 7 or 8 in the morning then its a maddash back home to go with the wivey and kid to opryland hotel for an ice exibit and shopping, I am definately going to make it to bass pro. :D

Mark, Buck comes up to fish our area a lot. He knows the river around the steamplant well. If you get to go with him, be ready for a good time. He's a great guide, though he lacks a little on the coffee and snack department!! LOL I knew I'd get to say that someday!! LOL He has a great boat and you'll have a blast. Wish I could join you guys. Hmmm...we'll see. LOL

I would definately like to go fishing with you all. Tomorrow morning is gonna be mostly a bait run due to going to nashville. But hey let me know I can get down their most weekends. Its always nice to have good people to fish with. Plus I can bring the snacks and I would be willing to help Whistler throw someone in the water ;)

I am new to tennessee. I came for college and got stuck in Chattanooga. I am originally from Chester Virginia and am used to fishing for Blues on the James. It has been a few years since I have been able to fish seriously but I am definately interested in learning how yall do it down here.

Hope someone has advice for me. My aluminum boat has been in the water all year and the bottom is bad. I tried the car wash and was not to happy with the results. How do I clean it. I don't think I will be keeping it in the water next summer.

Craig I would like to welcome you to Chattanooga. I was transplanted here about 18 years ago and now I proudly call it home. You will meet a lot of good people here in Chattanooga and a lot more on the BOC. Welcome to both and Jim and Judy Marshall are a prime example of some of the fine folks on both the BOC and in Chattanooga.

Welcome to the BOC, as Bam, Fish and others have said you will meet a ton of very nice people. I'm also new to the Chattanooga area moving here from Memphis. So like you, I'm trying to learn the Chickaumaga and Nickjack lakes. Catfishing is new to me as I'm a retread Bass/Crappie fisherman. I must confess, with the 60 degree days I've been out looking for the crappies. The are there and stacked up in 8 to 20 foot of water but seems they are easier to boat with the warmer weather.

I hope to meet you in the near future and wet a line with you.

I also fish from the bank due to no boat. I am currently in Hawaii on business but am looking forward to fishing when I return in April. Maybe we can get together someday. Look forward to meeting all fellow BOC members in the Clarksville area.

Sorry but I won't be making it to fish and camp. I had a bad dream of three days with no shower and it scared the crap out of me and others as I was told by some friends of mine. It worked out in the long run though. I spent last weekend in Greensboro NC and may be going back this weekend or next if they call. We will get together for some fun and fishing soon enough I promise. I wish I could be there to see all my friends but other priorities dictate. Just give pete and Bryan a big Howdy for me.
