Bullhead catfish basking in sun, won't bite anything

i saw 30 bullhead catfish in my yacht club yesterday basking in the sun,. i threw fresh cut shad, night crawlers and liver at them in their faces and they would look at it and then turn away. i tried this last year when this happened and every time i cast at them they would engulf the offering. i dont understand everything was fresh they werent' spooked or anything and they would not hit.

any suggestions.... i know they were soaking up rays but why no hits they \were right under the surface.. two foot or less.. i even used 4 pound test line and still nothing... call me 216-624-0557 if you have any familiar problems ... my name is marcus........:lol: :embarassed:

Hi Marcus,
I have not had any problems this year. I have been using shrimp and having good luck. But what is working here in TX may not work for you there. About the time I think I have them figured out they change my mind for me.
