Neosho River has been refreshed

Sence we got some water in the Neosho my catfishing has been much better. I have been pulling up alot more channel on my limb lines and I have been tearin em up with the new rod and reel I got. I have been using mostly Homade beef blood and cheese stink bait and shad sides and inards.
I have not started trying to catch the flats yet but here in about 2 weeks I will probably start going for the flats. What time of the year does everyone else start targeting flatheads mostly?

Anytime between now and september would be good for targeting flats. A little water helps. Is the Neosho up around where you live. I fish the Neosho here in OK and it was way low yesterday. Hopefully will be seeing some water coming from the North.
