Has anyone ever tried remote or tethered a sonar xducer for drifting down river so sonar shows before bait bottom bounces by it?
Otherwise I am seeing historical data by the time I see it(baits already past it).
Was thinking a sonar on a "leash" floating downriver farther than bait should work. I know they sell units just for this, but figure to use my xtra lowrance instead and just come up w/float and cable.
