I have recently respooled my smaller spincast with this line in the 17lb size, use to have spiderline braid 30lb test. The line casts pretty well and is fairly strong, not as strong as braid, but it has impressed me so far. I was going to go back with braid but the smaller lines only went up to 150 yards, the 17lb mono was 350 yards for the same price. I figured why not since I the rod was going to be used primarily for lure fishing, skipjack and what not. Has anybody else used the mono line from spiderline, and what do you think of it?? :cool:
