Hello,
Does anyone here fish Baldwin Lake during the winter? I heard that the colder the weather, the better the bite. A buddy of mine claims that he can always catch at least 1 20# flathead or blue from the North levee when it is below freezing. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I usually fish the south end. Right now the south end is closed due to waterfowl season. I may have to try the north levee area. Although that end of the lake is fairly shallow it does have the hot water outlet. I've been told that is a PRIME winter spot at Baldwin.
