I am planning on moving to the great state of missouri and was wondering how close can i get to the confluence of the missouri river with the miss i love to fish both so is there a place that is close to both

Welcome aboard, glad to have you here.

You can bankfish from both sides of the confluence, there are parks both on the north side of the Missouri and on the south side. I can't remember the name of the one on the north, but the one on the south is called the Columbia Bottoms. It has a boat ramp also, if you have a boat. The confluence is a very good place to fish. I have fished it quite a few times from a boat.

I just moved to Malden Missouri from Illinois. I am looking for some place good to fish on the Mississippi. Can someone please ehlp me out. I wont go on that river by myself. I seen there was people on her from Sikeston and New Madrid. Can some one please help me.

Where do you ususllay fish at Ed. I hate moving and not knowing nothing about the erea.

I don't have a boat so I normally fish at St. John's Bayou in New Madrid.

You will probably catch anything veru big there but you will catch alot of diiferent stuff. Carp,drum,blues,channels,flats,gar,bowfin,buffalo, and anything else that swims in the Mississippi.

Is that down there by the boat dock. I have a boat but it isnt legal yet.
