View Full Version : Area lakes on Google Earth

Was play'n around on Google Earth tonight and noticed that the satellite pictures for most of Arkansas have been updated since I looked at it last, it had been a while since I'd looked, Got to looking at Lake Brewer and Greers Ferry, both were as low as I've ever seen them in the pictures, Nimrod looked low too, but I don't know it well enough to tell how much. But there is lots of good structure showing on both Greers and especially Brewer, that if you fish either you might want to take a look at them and see what you can see.

I love using google earth! I look at the lakes and the different shading, dark areas tend to be the deep water. Very useful tool indeed. I also use it to figure out patterns for deer huntin! Good Post
