Spoonbills

Well I figured I would post my good luck over the weekend. I went with my father-in-law up to the river by mazie. I'm not to familiar with the area but I know there's a break wall on the river just north or hwy 412. We went up there and started snagging for the spoonbill. We had alot of luck and so was everyone else. We kept two the first day and three the second. My boys had a blast reeling in these huge fish. The smallest we caught was 28lbs and the largest was 53lbs. Looks like there full on running up the river. Good luck!

My oldest son, who fishs near Aurora Missouri, is having a good year with Spoonbill (Paddlefish).

Thanks for the info and the pics guys. I love to snag spoonbill below Kaw dam in Ponca City, Ok. Theres nothin like it when you hang a big one.
